There was a time in Tampa when a tropical storm hit us while we were on the road. Nathanael was so nervous. To calm him down, I decided to make him listen to me recite Psalm 139. I think it worked!

This was one of my favorite challenges. It really didn't take that long and it was SO worth it.

Today Nathanael attempted our Summer Adventure Challenge #10: Build a fairy house

I’m glad he actually got into it. We had so much fun trying to figure out what pieces of nature would be best for our fairy’s little home.

We started with a glass salsa jar as the basic structure:

…and then dug it into the garden:

We then proceeded to add a bed and an archway (out of a weed no less), and a walkway. It may be pretty tiny but I think it would make a very nice B&B for a weary pixie on her way to bigger and better adventures.
